Head of Knowledge Development, LO
Keith Dobbs joined Rocela in 2003 and is responsible for the management of licensing knowledge to support the effective delivery of Strategic License Asset Management (SLAM) project and managed services.
Prior to this role, he provided Oracle license advisory services to large multinational organisations across all major sectors where his breadth of industry experience comes to the fore. Keith's specialist Oracle licensing knowledge has been used successfully to delivery license compliance assessments and Software Asset Management engagements with demonstrable client benefits and has had papers published on various aspects of Oracle licensing and Software Asset Management (SAM).
Keith served his time prior to Rocela with Oracle Corporation as a Technical Development Director in the Energy sector where he managed onshore and offshore product development teams on major ERP re-engineering project.
Keith has over 30 years experience in the Engineering and IT industry in such diverse areas as Product Development; IT & Software Engineering; Engineering Operations and Production Management; Change Management; Offshore & Outsourcing; Hardware and Software Programme and Project Management across many different industry sectors. Keith is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Product Development Director
Jason holds the role of Product Development Director where his remit is to design, develop and implement tools and solutions which assist the business in delivering it's world leading Software Asset Management service.
Under Jason's guidance, the Product Development team has released innovative auto-discovery based SAM services and internal business support systems in the RIOCA framework that have brought huge performance and efficiency gains to the License Optimisation business.
Prior to joining Rocela in early 2006, Jason spent twelve years within Oracle Corporation where he held Consultancy and Product Management roles; lastly being a key member of the team that brought the innovative Oracle Portal product to market. Jason was responsible for the global performance and architecture component of the product.
Jason is a recognised speaker within the Oracle community, regularly speaking at trade events and a publisher of many white papers. Jason blends a deep technical knowledge with an ability to summarise and communicate to the highest level.
Head of Consulting, LO
Ian has worked in the Professional Services and more recently, the License Optimisation management team since joining Rocela in early 2007. In these roles he has overseen the successful delivery of major client engagements.
He has an IT career spanning 20 years, including time as both a supplier and customer with organisations including Nationwide Building Society, Oracle Corporation and Capital One Bank.
As an enterprise architect he has contributed to major IT initiatives involving multiple technologies covering Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Data Risk Management and Business Intelligence.
Ian has worked in most industry sectors and applies his expertise to help Rocela's customers to achieve their delivery objectives.
Business Development Manager, Professional Services
Keith Bell is Business Development Manager for Professional Services. He has recently joined Rocela to build on the success that they have enjoyed to date.
Keith started his career as a management consultant advising FTSE 100 companies on Enterprise Resource Planning projects. Many of the projects had a global dimension and all were delivered on tight timescales. The knowledge gained from working with these clients has provided Keith with an indepth knowledge about challenges businesses face today. This experience allows Keith to bring a consultative approach to customer engagements.
Director of Managed Services, Professional Services
Previously a Director of the Oracle E-Business Suite specialist Incisus - which was acquired by Rocela in 2006 - Steve has nearly 20 years experience implementing Oracle & E-Business Suite solutions globally.
A former employee of Oracle UK, he has also worked for Oracle in Hong Kong, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Steve is responsible for managing the Oracle applications consulting and managed service teams in Rocela as well as carrying out consulting assignments in his capacity as a solutions architect and in project assurance roles.
He has extensive experience as an E-Business Suite functional and technical consultant and as an applications DBA. Steve's consulting experience spans many sectors and includes work with clients such as Sun Microsystems, Compaq, Nokia, Northern Telecom, AT&T, Merrill Lynch and many public sector organisations
